Consequently, because he missed his wife, he fell sick. At this moment, the Tiger Vanguard Warrior, sent by the Evil Star Matcher comes to fetch two servant girls. Pig drives away the Tiger Vanguard Warrior, and Monkey follows him to the Horndog Cave on Mount Unicorn, where he inquires about the Queen of the Sacred Golden Palace.
國王設宴酬謝師徒。席間談到三年前有自稱“賽太歲”的妖怪攝走了國王髮妻（金聖宮），故而因思念妻子而得病……。是時恰巧有“賽太歲”的虎先鋒來索要使女。八戒逐走虎先鋒，悟空跟蹤到麒麟山獬豸洞，探聽金聖宮娘娘情況。
